| Before you begin your YACHT SEARCH, you should select the category of yacht you prefer. Whether you choose a catamaran, monohull sailboat, motor yacht or mega yacht, NV Yacht Charters will find the best yacht available. We have outlined a few fundamental differences to consider when choosing a yacht for your charter vacation. |

A monohull sailboat is the quintessential sailing experience. Glide across the water with sails aloft. Grab a line and take part in the action or sit back and let your experienced captain handle the yacht. Guests get cabins with private bathrooms and the crew have separate accommodations. |

Catamarans or multihull yachts offer a bit more stability on the water. The shallow draft on a multihull vessel allows movement into very shallow waters and into the most spectacular private coves. Accommodations are a bit more private with rooms distributed among the dual hulls. They typically have a large protected outdoor cockpit area with is perfect for group gatherings for lounging or dining. Multihulls are often more affordable than a power yacht making it a perfect fit for first time charterers, larger groups, families and novice sailors. |

Speed and space are the defining factors here. Getting from island to island is quicker leaving more time to enjoy the beautiful destination. Motor Yacht Vacations have more space inside and out. The interiors are often more luxurious and the salons on a motor yacht can include a living area as well as a dining area. |

Luxurious power mega yachts typically fall in the over 100 foot market. A mega yacht vacation includes more crew to serve your every need and magnificent interior accommodations. Guests on these yachts can expect superior white –gloved service and amenities such as on-deck Jacuzzis, fitness equipment and more extensive supply of water equipment. Expenses on a mega yacht are often calculated differently than other yachts following the “plus expenses” fees. Charter guests pay a base fee and then a cost plus fee that includes food, beverages, taxes where applicable, dock fees, and fuel. This cost plus fee is often based on 25 – 35 percent of the charter fee. |
